The second edition of Art Town Film Festival will take place in Mänttä-Vilppula Oct 15-18, 2026. The call for volunteers for this year's festival is now open. We are looking for adult volunteers.
As a volunteer you get to enjoy the festival atmosphere, help us build the event and make new interesting acquaintances. Volunteers will also receive festival staff passes, which entitles to free admission during free hours to screening with free seats, one warm meal on working days and an invitation to the staff closing party.
This year's volunteer tasks:
INFO DESK | The info desk sells tickets, answers phone calls, distributes festival passes and sells merchandise. Previous experience in customer service is an advantage.
SCREENING ATTENDANT | Screening attendants work at all screening venues. Tasks include ticket control, audience assistance and monitoring screenings.
CAFÉ | The café is run in the old Kino Säde cinema. Tasks include coffee-making, selling café products and keeping the café clean.
WILDCARD TEAM | Wildcard team members may be given various tasks and may be called in to replace other volunteers if necessary.
DECORATIONS | Decorators distribute festival posters around town and neighbouring areas and decorate the venues for the festival.
COMMUNICATIONS | We will share moods from the festival on social media. Be a part of making the festival phenomenon in our various social channels!
TRANSPORT | Transporters will drive around people, screening tech and other equipment as necessary.
PAPER ROUND | Distributing the advance programme leaflets directly to mailboxes in Mänttä-Vilppula.

Applications are reviewed as they arrive and will be processed by Sunday, September 19. We will notify all accepted applicants by e-mail. Orientation will be arranged and there will be instruction for all tasks.
